A fully qualified architect, registered with the Architects Registration Board (ARB), will provide professional guidance and initial design direction for your project in a focused, 7.5-hour working day.​

This service is concept-only, with no detailed drawings, measurements, or surveys. Designs will be based on the information you supply or what can be gathered and are intended for feasibility purposes only. Any concepts produced are not to be used for planning, construction, or further design work without additional refinement.

This service provides quick, expert feedback, helping you explore design ideas and avoid common pitfalls early in your project.

 

This is a remote service only, provided via video call and digital deliverables.

What’s Included:

1. Pre-Session Consultation: A brief discussion (via phone or video call) to understand your goals and provide direction.

2. 7.5 Hours of Concept Design: The architect will spend 7.5 hours working on design ideas and solutions based on your input. This may include one or multiple design options, layout suggestions, material recommendations, and other design-related insights, depending on time.

3. Use of Provided Information: The architect will work with the information you provide (e.g., floor plans, photos, or rough measurements). If no measurements are provided, the architect will work with available details.

4. Deliverables: At the end of the session, you’ll receive whatever work is completed, whether finished or in progress, including sketches or rough layouts.

5. Disclaimer:

   • Designs are for conceptual purposes only and not for planning or construction.

   • The architect takes no liability for inaccuracies in measurements, or for any use of the designs beyond their intended purpose.

   • Further professional refinement will be required before the concepts can be used for planning, construction, or any other advanced stages.

   • This service does not include surveys, detailed drawings, or any further architectural services.

6. Agreement and Confirmation:

   • An agreement outlining the terms of the service, including the scope, deliverables, and disclaimers, will be provided prior to the session.

   • A signature or email confirmation from the client will be required to confirm acceptance of the terms before proceeding.

7. Next Steps:

   • By the end of the session, you’ll have a clear design strategy for your project. If you wish to take the design further, we can discuss next steps for full architectural services, detailed plans, or planning applications.

8. Booking Made Simple:

   • Booking is simple and straightforward. Once your session date is confirmed and terms agreed upon, the architect will be ready to provide a focused, professional service.

9. Quality Assurance:

   • Although the main bulk of the work will be completed within a one-day period, we may delay releasing the produced copies for up to five working days. This is to ensure an acceptable level of quality assurance at this stage.
